Job Description

This is an ideal position for people who like to find solutions by looking at mechanical logic, while working manually. Shifts are 12 hours for a schedule of 40 hours per week. It is possible to work overtime for those who wish to do so. Two types of bonuses are applicable for this type of position specifically.

Main Responsabilities

• Respond to mechanical breakdown calls on production equipment to carry out repairs on industrial machinery.
• Analyze and "troubleshoot" industrial equipment to establish repair solutions.
• Test and observe electrical as well as electronic and mechanical components and systems using test and measurement equipment.
• Locate faults in electric motors, transformers, switchgear as well as generators and other electromechanical equipment.
• Perform dynamic or static balancing of armatures or rotors. Align and adjust parts.
• Perform machining work to refurbish or modify shafts as well as switches or other parts.
